Wal-Mart, friend or foe?

Is it just me, or is it impossible to go to Wal-Mart and spend less than $50? I went in last night needing spackle and stockings. Well, I found them all right, but I also found protein bars, hair stuff, excercise pants (which, btw are the smallest size I've boughten since Jr high, not that that is really saying much) oatmeal, yarn, as well as a few other things...
Ok, maybe I am just too much of an impulse shopper.
